In Luke 8:17, Jesus says, "For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light."

DROP your ego. It's what's STOPPING you from questioning things. When you believe you already KNOW everything about a certain topic, it's unlikely that you will ever investigate its base premise to verify its authenticity. Your ego tells you, "someone else has already DONE the work, so I don't HAVE to". This is a logical FALLACY. It most often occurs in the minds of those who think they NEED to be ruled, told what to do and what to THINK. It's the worst kind of slave mentality.
If you think that all legitimate information comes from "authority", then you're RIGHT where "they" want you to be, mentally. Unquestioningly trusting government, the media and the educational system has been proven again and again to be the WRONG way to go. These institutions LIE to you on a CONSTANT basis. It's how they operate and WHY they exist! They were created to BRAINWASH YOU INTO SUBMISSION. How did Rob Skiba put it? "Fool me once, shame on you... fool me twice, shame on me... Continue to believe what proven pathological liars say and you're an idiot..."
The truth stings, sometimes.
Move past your blind trust in authority and research things for yourself. Stop being TOLD what to think! Learn how to finally think for yourself. Shut off your TV. Stop watching the "news". Free yourself from the blatant indoctrination in our society. Then, and ONLY then, will you be able to see right through the lies.
It's a process. Take your time with all this. Take it slow. Eliminate emotional responses to the material when you research. Suspend judgement until you THOROUGHLY understand every detail of every piece of information related to the topic you are researching. Remember to look at everything from every angle possible, not just the point of view YOU think is "correct".
You'll thank yourself someday. Researching flat earth and the Firmament opens up a whole new world of understanding and discernment and it gives you the tools to unlock all the other deceptions in our world.
