On April 4, 2026, around noon Pacific Daylight Time, a comet will pass extremely close to the Sun. There is a slim chance it will be visible in broad daylight next to the sume. Don't get your hopes up, but I will be watching, weather permitting, just in case it actually turns out to be a thing.
