In the pre-patch for @Warcraft‘s The War Within in August of 2024, Blizzard made an error that resulted in wiping out items from guild banks. At the very least, hundreds of people are affected.
@Blizzard claims they cannot restore the items. I don't think that's true. My opinion is that they are _choosing_ not to restore the items.
This week, as Blizzard remains quiet on the subject, news sites have started chiming in. Thanks to Alayea on the US forums for this timeline:
