The Great American Revolution roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain celebrated its 50th anniversary on May 8th, 2026. In addition to restoring Revolution's name to its original name, the park has done some re-theming to mark the occasion, in addition to introducing new limited merchandise and food items that should be available throughout the year.
What was the ride like when it opened in 1976? Riders reminisce about the coaster when it was new, recall their first rides and admire The Great American Revolution for its ability to continue thrilling new and old riders alike.
