Yesterday, our CEO Chris Abbott brought a little bit of the farm to the big city. He drove the One Million Thanks Grati-Tractor around the Minnesota State Capitol building and met with community leaders to discuss issues and solutions shaping the future of farming in Minnesota.
Chris' Buddy Seat guests included Minnesota House Speaker Lisa Demuth, Shannon Schlecht, executive director of AURI, Minnesota Agriculture Commissioner Thom Petersen, CEO of the Minnesota State Fair, Renee Alexander, Erich E. Mische, CEO of SAVE, and many more.
They discussed a wide range of topics, including rural economic development, ag tech, and farmer mental health.
These candid conversations in the cab of a working family tractor are not your typical conference room business meetings. They're designed to connect people more closely to agriculture and remind us all to thank farmers for our food, fiber, and fuel.
