The Good Place is such a bright spot in my life and I really needed to make a video about it to show my love and appreciation. And I mean isn’t this just the perfect song for this perfect show? I’ve been working on this for a while and I know it’s kind of a mess but whatever I really wanted to finish it asap after that damn finale.
I’m still grieving and trying to make sense of my feelings… I’m so gutted that Chidi was rebooted. But at the same time we got the most beautiful scene in the entire show with the montage of their memories. I had honestly been waiting so long for them to get to see some of their past.. BUT AT WHAT COST?! HE’S JUST GONNA FORGET IT ALL AGAIN :’( Omg I have literally rewatched that scene 20 times and every single time I get emotional. It just really hits me how many lives they have lived together and how much history they have. For me Chidi and Eleanor’s love story is so central and pivotal to the show, their connection is what starts bettering themselves and everyone else.
Anyway I’ll probably go on about them later cause I’m bound to vid them again soon, but for now here is my video of the show as a whole. I really tried to highlight every relationship and show the progress each character has made. They’ve all gotten so much better (though Chidi’s progress is all just gonna be taken away now.. don’t start with me on my frustration about that) I’m just so proud of team cockroach/ the soul squad/ my little chili babies they have all come so far :’)
