Ezekiel chapters 40 to 48, provide ample details about the Temple’s construction and dimensions, and provide a vision for the future of Jerusalem during the seat of Messiah. In the Psalms God says, “You are my son… ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession” (Psalm 2:7-8). And Jesus said this to His disciples, “You who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel” (Matthew 19:28).
Six times in the Book of Revelation, a thousand year reign is mentioned, saying, and “They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years” (Revelation 20:4). During this period, called the Millennial Reign, many great and unfulfilled biblical prophecies about the reign of a great Messiah on earth will come to pass. Zechariah said, ‘Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty’ (Zechariah 14:16), ‘And the Lord will be king over the whole earth’ (Zechariah 14:9).
