I can never remember whether August 11th or August 22nd is the official 30th anniversary of Chrono Trigger's North American release date, so I'll be splitting the difference and releasing 30 hours' worth of videos on each of these days.
Let's start with a classic. The iconic. The Girl Who Stole the Stars.
I really really like both this and the Chrono Cross versions, but I decided to give this one some love today, because it's more underrated."
I will always have a soft spot for the Chrono Trigger soundtrack itself, yet this song, in my opinion, is quite the worthy follow-up.

I've been hard at work on my own video game the past few years, so I haven't updated this channel too much. However, this song ended up as the inspiration for the theme of the primary love interest in my own game.
Many songs in Chrono Trigger, Radical Dreamers, & Chrono Cross inspired many things.

I suppose, as for the nature of my own game, it's a horror game, and so its much more psychologically and graphically disturbing in subject matter by comparison to Chrono Trigger. It is most certainly not a children's game. Yet it's also got a lot of heart, a lot of characters with (what I hope are) compelling narratives, a lot of fun cosmic energy, and considering it's made by me, its visual, storytelling and music identity is very inspired by Chrono Trigger.

Many things are inspired, some more directly than others.
The primary group of characters involve an angellic eldritch entity I designed by meshing the three forms of Lavos together and making them my favorite colors, and a cast of girls, with a range of designs & personalities as diverse as the eras of Chrono Trigger.

Will you like it? Maybe. We'll see. But I do think it'll be very interesting.
Sometimes writing it makes me cry too hard so I have to take breaks.
But it's very good.
I promise.

...And there is a villain design even more insane than the Lavos-nipple-lasers. I had to make sure I lived up to what came before.
