Back in 1909, Charles Dana Gibson’s famous “Gibson Girls'' drawings and sketches were all the rage, setting style trends that would become synonymous with the Edwardian era. Billed by Biograph as “an amusing seaside trifle”, this 1909 D. W. Griffith directed comedy is a charming window into fashion of the late 1900’s and early 1910’s.
