German sentences often open early and close late. In the sentence „Ich möchte morgen mit meiner Schwester einkaufen gehen,” the conjugated verb „möchte” appears early, but the main action „einkaufen gehen” comes at the end. This is the German sentence bracket: the finite verb opens the sentence, information builds in the middle, and the rest of the verb closes the thought.
