✈️ Did you know that Diddy Kong Racing almost got a secret handheld sequel? For over 20 years, Nintendo kept a fully playable build of this game completely hidden in their vaults. Welcome back to a new episode of Game of the Sunday!
In today's video, we are diving deep into the history and gameplay of Diddy Kong Pilot (2001) for the Game Boy Advance. Developed by the legendary studio Rare at the peak of their golden era with Nintendo, this game was meant to be the ultimate portable racing experience.
However, due to corporate shifts and Microsoft's acquisition of Rare, Nintendo cancelled it at the very last second Join me as we explore the hidden menus, race with King K. Rool, and compare this lost treasure side-by-side with what it eventually became: Banjo-Pilot.
