Dubbed ‘the DJs' festival’, The Garden Festival wrapped up 10 years of legendary parties in its home of Tisno, Croatia this summer, culminating in a very special final edition.
We spent a week onsite capturing the incredibly unique atmosphere whilst chatting with repeat festival offenders Eats Everything, PBR Streetgang, Adam Shelton, Amos Nelson (Waifs & Strays), Sebastian Spring and Croatian artist Ilija Rudman - alongside festival co-founder Nick Colgan and first timer DJ E.A.S.E from Nightmares On Wax - on the essence of what makes this magical, Croatian-born event so special; giving us an insight as to why festival-goers and artists alike kept coming back for more year after year.
In this micro-documentary we take you from the main stage to the beach bar to the famous boat parties on the Adriatic Sea, then onto the amazing open-air club Barbarellas where the happiest of people rave until the sun starts shining.
The much-loved party's last hurrah is not, however, to be seen as an ending. Rather, it's the start of a new journey founded by The Garden Festival programmers Dave Harvey and Tom Paine, who introduce the next wave of Croatian vacation festivals in 2016: Love International.
