The Game Awards 2018 is upon us. This show has never really been able to make up its mind about whether or not it wants to be good, bad, all out cringe, or all of the above. Geoff Keighley wants us all to take it seriously, but he and his panel of voters continue to miss GOTY worthy titles, and can't stop with the the cringe. There is always big promises at this game award show and never lives up to expectations. I don't doubt that there will be a couple of interesting announcements, but Esports and the gamers that play them are not what makes gaming special. These people have no impact on whether games turn out poor or excellent. Stop treating them as such. They're already awarded thousands of dollars for playing video games. We don't need to treat them as if they're Lebron James. Get a clue, Geoff Keighley! Thanks for watching!
