Unbeknownst to many STEEP fans and to players looking forward to RIDERS REPUBLIC there was one original Ubisoft title that never got the love it truly deserved... and that game is SHAUN WHITE SNOWBOARDING
Released in 2008, this game didn't quite hit the playerbase that we have in Steep and other modern winter sport games. In my humble opinion, it was released in the wrong period where Arcade style extreme sports games were KING and more realistic style control games were appearing over the horizon (Such as SKATE!)
This is an overview of one of my favourite snowboarding games that strangely has a lot of features that you see people demanding for Steep and Riders Republic such as Avalanches, Proper customisation with brands, moving chairlifts, tons of NPCs, well-designed parks and so on.
