I didn't expect a new shape to change how I feel about an entire phone category, but here we are. The wider, shorter design changes everything about how this phone feels to use day to day.
In this Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 review, I cover: the redesigned cover display and typing experience, why I'm using the inner screen way more than I expected, the new hinge and Flex Mode changes, multitasking and split-screen features, battery life and charging speed compared to the Fold 7, gaming and sustained performance under heat, and how the cameras hold up without a dedicated telephoto lens.
