I have several times seen that applying Super Glue, or Cyanoacrylate kind of glue discolors the plastic, but this is especially true with old yellowed plastic. This has proven to be a problem on some computer and electronics repair jobs in the past. But that was before the modern age of retro computing, where old and discolored plastic has failed to please some of the more nostalgic minded computer users. Nowadays there has been a couple of mainstream methods of restoring the color of old plastic cases. The most used is different kinds of hair color products containing hydrogen peroxide, just plain sunlight, or a combination of the two. Here is a totally new method that is not fully tested yes. So kids: Don’t try this at home, at least not on your most valued retro computer.
