Getting to Koh Samui can be expensive with direct flights to the main island airport.. So why not go to Surat Thani and jump on a speed boat! Not only does the whole trip cost half as much but it ends up been twice as fun!

The 5 Engine Speed boat is called Attamart ZORRO and is Thailands first aluminium alloy boat.. Kudos! That thing rips!

Viet Jet Air - Bangkok Suvarnabhumi to Surat Thani - Return Tickets 3835 Baht (Can get for 2k but I needed check in baggage added)
Taxi Surat Thani Airport to Tapee Pier - 600 Baht (absolute rip off! But I didn't have time to argue about it)
