This is the story of how I managed to get out of Doha, Qatar and travel through Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to Al Ain, a medium-sized city that is less of a target than the other major cities in the area, and on the border of Oman, where I plan to go next to try and catch a flight out of the Middle East.
