Virgile Pilon of Blind Guitars blindguitars.com is a fascinating example of the European guitar making scene. Inspired as much by astronomy as the blind bluesmen of the 20th Century his Nouvelle Vintage aesthetic has really inspired me since I first tried one of his instruments.

In this episode of Luthier Stories we talk about Virgil's approach to making, his background as a fine furniture and vintage guitar repairman, exotic woods, cool designs and the French guitar making scene - all very cool!
