The Ciaccona was one of the most popular ground bass lines of the 16th and 17th centuries. This mash-up features many variations on a theme by different composers. Monteverdi, Merula, Ferrari, Schütz, plus some Terry Riley. Originally arranged by John Taylor Ward.
