A Discussion and Critique around the Tudor x RedBull "Alinghi" Racing Pelagos FXD and Pelagos Chronograph. A nice example of a modern Yachting watch that at the same time dilutes the uniqueness of the original Marine National FXD. A watch that originated as a tool designed for the purpose of navigation now with a new coat of paint, built to be used on a yacht. It's great that the Pelagos is getting more exposure, but these new watches do feel like a mishmash of parts without a clear vision.
