The Fourth Wise Man: the untold story of his journey to Jesus
In the Gospel we read about the Magi… but nowhere does it say they were three.
What if I told you that, according to an ancient spiritual tradition, there is a legend about a Fourth Wise Man?
His name is Artaban. He too sees the star. He too sets out with precious gifts.
But along the way something happens that changes him forever: a life appears before him—someone who needs saving… and in that instant he realizes he can’t have both things: arrive in Bethlehem on time, or stop and love.
From that day on, Artaban walks for years with a doubt in his heart:
“Have I missed the most important encounter of my life?”
