The whole world of Path of Exile 2 is about to quake with the next official patch, 0.5: Return of the Ancients. Inspired by some recent lore discoveries and revelations, I breakdown some of the biggest PoE 2 lore questions out there, outline a serious mystery about Wraeclast, the Edicts, the Ancients, and the Mothersoul, and propose what I think 0.5's story will kickoff: the complete rewriting of PoE 2's world as we know it.
