Our recorded 'history' dates back around 6000 years, yet we see evidence across the world of advanced civilizations, often capable of feats of stone work (the only evidence which can last that long) which we can't come close to replicating today .

In both Turkey and South America the amount of erosion evident suggests some of the ruins could be from a time before modern humans even walked on this plane.
