I wonder what William would think of the narcisist in chief's latest attempt to re-name something in his honour. William used part of this poem in the opening of the Lake Onatrio chapter in his beautiful 1910 book "The Beauty, History Romance and Mystery of the Canadian Lake Region":

Of course, Trump is not the first old white man of no consequence to put his name on something that he had no hand in creating and no claim to. Great to see #Canadians pushing back.

I know some purists get upset when I make up new tunes for these ballads, so I have transcribed the tune from John Stokoe and John Collingwood Bruces 1965 Northumbrian Minstrelsy under the title The Brave Earl Brand and the King of Englands Daughter and done my best to at least match some of it.
