After an impressive 27 years in service with Swissair and SWISS, our Airbus A321 “HB-IOC” landed in Zurich for the last time in 2022. During its service, "India Oscar Charlie" transported more than seven million guests and completed around 47,000 take-offs and landings. 🌍✈️
What happened to the HB-IOC after it retired? During the subsequent aircraft decommissioning process, the aircraft parts were either reused, recycled or even upcycled for the first time as part of a pilot project. This resulted in the very first SWISS Recraft Collection, which consists of handmade limited-edition accessories and furniture. The upcycled aircraft parts bring the history of HB-IOC and the emotions of travelling to life in a new form. ♻️✨
