As Pastor @DrAnitaPhillips shared from Luke 17:11–19, leprosy begins on the skin but it does not stay there. As it progresses, it damages the nerves so that what once caused pain becomes numb. When feeling is lost, injuries go unnoticed while the damage goes deep.
Trauma can work the same way. It used to hurt. Now we feel nothing. But numb is not the same as whole.
In this story, ten men were cleansed but one was made whole. Jesus did not just restore what could be seen. He restored what was broken beneath the surface.
Bring your whole self to Him. He still heals deeper than what shows. ❤️
