This is a beautiful song I have been meaning to play for some time having taken something of a self imposed sabbatical from music.. All the lines have some degree of personal poignancy especially the bit about running in the first verse.. In my time have run a hundred marathons and half marathons over a ten year period and just like forest gump I suddenly just stopped one day.. What a crazy business "this old man runs no more.." a fabulous Alan Jackson song..
