I got an idea for a Dark Souls III series of challenge runs. Basically, take a bunch of RPG archetypes (Tank, DPS, Mage, Healer, Rogue, & Ranger), and do runs with them, sticking to rules to make them similar to how they'd be played in MMORPGs and the like. For the third run, I wanted to go with the spell slinger themself: the mage. We cannot go above 30 vigor, must get to 60 intelligence or 40+ int/faith, must be under 30% equipment load, and we can only wear hoods and mage hat for our headpiece. As our main form of backline DPS, I gave us quite access to both Pyromancy and Sorcery. This lets us go down many different paths, so long as we stick to our restrictions.
We're also allowing the Dark Hand & Aquamarine Dagger to help with longer fights like Yhorm and Gael.
