Old Stone Church Cemetery in Wheeling West Virginia with @atlaspreservation

Stone Church Cemetery is located along Stone Church Road in the Elm Grove section of Wheeling, West Virginia. Previous to 1970, the Old Stone Church was located on the Cemetery site.

The cemetery was originally a part of the huge estate of Moses Shepherd of Elm Grove. For many years it functioned only as a graveyard, but in October 1865 Charles DeHass surveyed and laid out the cemetery site.
