The ACLU is fighting back against Florida’s HB 7 bill (Stop W.O.K.E. Act), a classroom censorship law which severely restricts Florida educators and students from learning and talking about issues related to race and gender in higher education classrooms.

Florida joins at least 30 states across the country that have introduced similar laws aimed at censoring discussions around race and gender in the classroom.

This back-to-school season, we want to hear from you why you believe it’s important to keep our classrooms free from political censorship. How has having access to an education system that supports diversity, learning and equality has impacted your life?
