Hi everyone. Today's video is a special edition review; an unboxing and flip-through review of the limited Curious King edition of The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin! This is the first book in The Broken Earth trilogy. This edition is my fourth-ever letterpress special edition, and once again, I am simply flabbergasted by how incredible the quality is. Ever since owning a Curious King edition of The Blade Itself, I knew about the top-notch quality of Curious King production. And still Curious King managed to exceed my expectations.
The cover art, endpaper, and the 8 fully-colored interior illustrations are all illustrated by John Anthony Di Giovanni, an incredibly skillful artist and one of my favorite artists in the fantasy genre. I'll let the video and his artworks speak for themselves. This limited edition is sold out now, and I have permission from the publisher to spotlight all the interior illustrations!

Yes, at least on part with The Blade Itself. Even though I do love the cover art and thickness of The Blade Itself more. I cannot believe this is only their second publication. Totally magical.
