Side note: That was, quite literally, the first time I've ever cooked bacon in my life. I'm not really a fan of it, so I've never really ventured into the world of cooking the stuff. For the record, foremanizing it doesn't work too well. Not very crispy, didn't blend all the way. Of course, that could have to do with the fact that it was turkey bacon (Dude Manbroski is too cheap for the real stuff, college budget and all), but I think frying is key.
The "demi-glace" was not entirely disgusting, but I did end up spitting it out. I put way too much bourbon in it, and I had to go to a work meeting immediately after I filmed that segment, so yeah.
