Magnific Desktop is Magnific in its own app for macOS and Windows. Same platform, same models, none of the back and forth.

On Mac it goes further: native actions for Shortcuts. Build the workflow you want, right-click, add it to the dock. Give it an icon. Now it runs like any other app, and the render lands straight in the folder you picked.
