Caren Parnes has been a well known fan artist for most of her life. Her style is realistic and much of her work has been done with colored pencils. She's produced extensive work in Star Trek and Blakes 7, as well as innumerable other fandoms, and her award-winning work is often seen on zine covers.
She brought over her art for me to videotape in 1988 and I've just made this video from that old footage. A few of her newer pieces have slipped in, as well. For years we lured each other into various fandoms and her friendship will always be treasured.
