The Family is a captivating thriller from #JennaBans (#GreyâsAnatomy), with a stellar ensemble cast, set around the return of Adam (#LiamJames - #TheWayWayBack), a politicianâs son, presumed dead after disappearing over a decade earlier. This sudden reappearance sends shockwaves through the tight knit Warren family as overwhelming emotions of astonishment and joy, soon turn to confusion and suspicion that Adam may not be who he says he is. As the mysterious Adam is reintroduced to his family home, the neighbour convicted for his murder is released and the detective responsible has her career threatened.

As Adamâs parents struggle to deal with his return, his older brother Danny (#ZachGilford - #LAsFinest, #FridayNightLights) is more apprehensive about welcoming his brother back with open arms as Adam is so different to the brother Danny remembers. Then there is their sister Willa (#AlisonPill - #TheNewsroom, #MidnightInParis) who tries to hold the family together as she desperately tries to hide secrets of her own.
Solving the case of Adamâs disappearance and convicting the Warrenâs neighbour Hank Asher (#AndrewMcCarthy - #PrettyInPink, #OrangeIsTheNewBlack) catapulted the career of Detective Nina Meyer (#MargotBingham - #BoardwalkEmpire). Now, as Hank is released from prison and tries to claw back some of his life, whilst overcoming the nightmare of his conviction, Detective Meyer must reexamine what really happened.
Adam Warrenâs disappearance and return has attracted lots of attention to the case, especially those of up-and-coming reporter Bridey Cruz (#FlorianaLima - #Allegiance), who is willing to do almost anything to make this story her first front page.
