Wizards and Warriors Channel fantasy animated documentary video series on the lore of Warhammer 40k Universe started with the coverage of the Horus Heresy (youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2Qq-rUSt7b3K84dXHVM-r_RVLzcJMbUk), but we decided to run a second series on the Black Crusades parallel to it (youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2Qq-rUSt7b3na_VNArlfLZKBHUC-GmvT). Cadia stands at the edge of annihilation. Abaddon the Despoiler has spent ten thousand years preparing this moment, and the 13th Black Crusade is about to decide the fate of the Imperium. With the Will of Eternity crippled and Chaos forces stranded on the surface, Lord Castellan Creed sees one final chance to save his world. But as Belisarius Cawl uncovers the true purpose of Cadia’s ancient pylons, the battle becomes far greater than a fight for a single fortress world. Trazyn the Infinite opens his collection, Saint Celestine confronts the Warmaster, and Jarran Kell makes his final stand as millions clash across the Elysion Fields. Then the pylons awaken. The Eye of Terror begins to close. For one impossible moment, humanity appears to have won. Abaddon still has one final weapon. This Warhammer 40K lore video covers the climactic Fall of Cadia, the end of the 13th Black Crusade, the destruction of the Cadian pylons, and the birth of the Great Rift, the Cicatrix Maledictum. It is the story of how Cadia won the battle, lost the planet, and changed the galaxy forever and ushered in the Era Indomitus. The planet broke before the Guard did, but Cadia stands.
