A stone circle found on maps in Wiltshire on the Hill above Monkton Deverill a stone circle that dates from 1996 constructed for The Big Green Gathering that was held in this area from 1996 to 2000 .
I venture over the tracks and paths to look at this fairly forgotten wonder in the Wiltshire landscape to see what it looks and feels like in the environment.
This has no real historical significance other than it marks the place of early green movement activity in the Wiltshire countryside .
As time passes by I am convinced future generations will probably appreciate this forgotten wonder ?
