Cheesy acting? Yes. Bad CGI? Check. Awesome Blowing Up and Killing of Things? ABSOLUTELY!
It's no A*Team, but The Expendables exceeded expectations. Granted, those were low, but we had a great time at what was described after seeing the trailer in the Spring as "the only man movie this summer."
