The Exit 8 is a game that's gotten a bit of cult popularity. It's a simple premise: Go through a linear path, keep track of your environment, and react if something changes...all with a bit of a surreal and sometimes freaky air. It certainly created a buzz online.
I played The Exit 8...but I'm not stopping there. I've also managed to dig up MANY different games clearly and obviously inspired by The Exit 8. While it seems like everyone's covered the original, I've not seen a single person check out these clone games... Are they any good? Do they bring something of their own to the table? Or are they lazy cash-ins? It's a genre where we have to pay close attention anyways, so I guess we'll see!
