Chapter 10: Light and Dark, no official title of this track as of making this video, is the track played for the tenth chapter from the game Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War; released in 1996 by intelligent Systems for the Super Famicom. This is one of the most prestigious and important tracks of the game as it is where you avenge the loss of Seliph's father by defeating Arvis in this map.
In the same year the game was released, an Arranged Soundtrack album for the game was released; this included fourteen (14) tracks for the game masterfully arranged that still holds up to this day.
Nearly a decade later, in 2005, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance was released for the Nintendo Gamecube. In what was a Binding Blade move, the Trial Maps theme plays a remix of Light and Dark from Genealogy of the Holy War, titled as Side Battle.
And another decade later, in late 2017, the Cavalry Duo released their second album for the Cipher Caravan, titled as Sounds of Fire Emblem from Cipher Festival: Galeforce; with it includes eleven (11) different tracks from different FE series, three FE4 tracks coming from the album. Uprising in Agustria, End of the Holy War, and Light and Dark. And in addition, this version of Light and Dark was based on PoR's Side Battle version.
And that's The Evolution of Light and Dark! This was suggested to me by Kyrroti from the community tab where I end up eating my words and it sure did ended up amazing in the long run, thanks to Micheal Harding for making me remember that Side Battle from PoR was Light and Dark, he's the dude who does the mash-ups, check him out! And you all voted for this track (as the second most voted) to be featured in this series, I really enjoyed doing this video, albeit short.
No animated sprites for this video sadly, I was trying to figure out how to implement animated sprites into this video but it ended up being bad when I tried something. I'll figure something out in the future, BUT I'll incorporate animated sprites from this series in the future.
