Don't speak her name! is a soundtrack played on Chapter 10: Renewal; composed originally for the Nintendo 3DS game: Fire Emblem Awakening, released in Spring 2012 in Japan, and later on their international release in 2013.

"Her" refers to Emmeryn, Chrom's sister, who did a valiant sacrifice that would reach the hearts of many soldiers and both armies.The soundtrack plays after the incident, and is only played on this one chapter, solidifying itself as one of the most memorable tracks in the game (and I don't feel like I gave this soundtrack enough justice by just saying it like that.)

In February 2017, Fire Emblem Music Collection: Piano - Faith and Engagement album was released. Including it are sixteen (16) tracks in total, two representing Awakening: Id Serenity and Don't speak her name!

In the same year, Fire Emblem Warriors was released for the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo 3DS. The final boss theme, This Precious World, is a medley of multiple tracks that featured Medeus' theme, Don't speak her name!, Id (Purpose), and Lost in Thoughts All Alone.

And in February 2020, Fire Emblem Premium Arrange II album was released to celebrate the Fire Emblem Expo II. Thirteen (13) tracks are included in the album, and only two Awakening tracks representing the second Premium Arrange album: "Don't speak her name!"", and Id (Hope) for the Grand Battle Medley.

And that's the wrap! The Evolution of Don't speak her name! Three different versions, three different ways to feel emotional to Emmeryn's eventual downfall.
