This is our sixt video on the Schneider EuroPC. The PC that is not a Commodore, but with this design that makes us all wish it were. In this video we break out the soldering iron, the desoldering gun, and the hot air rework station to do some actual work on this rather poor looking specimen. In the prior episodes we have identified some of the rather strange symptoms, and we now must fix some of them before we can go further. The address and data bus are the nerve systems of the PC. So, it’s been enough talking, and time for some light action. The Schneider EuroPC is the German company Schneider’s first attempt to make a PC of their own after years of rebranding Amstrad computers. I had a friend back in the day that had one of these beauties and I have always loved the shape and concept of these. This is a recent purchase and was bought in unknown condition.
