NFS Shift 2 Unleashed is one of the few racing games that can actively put you in the driver's seat no matter if you're in a 200hp track car or a proper racing machine. I always seem to replay this gem of a racing game every now and then and never get tired of the little details scattered across the game like the individual speedometers for each and every car in the game (esp noticeable in the chase cam) to the driver's heavy breathing after a collision, etc. I personally think Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed is a very underrated racing game despite the wonky handling model.
