We got some.. interesting news this week.. and in a lot of ways, since my last newsday, the entire industry's vibes shifted.

Meta has abandoned the term "Virtual Reality" in its entirety while an internal memo made it clear that this year is essentially boom or bust for Meta's "mixed reality" endeavors- mixed reality being Meta's catch all term, replacing VR.

In other news, we have some more leaks on Deckard, a couple interesting ways VR has entered the justice system.. AND, THE ORIGINAL FOUNDER OF OCULUS IS BACK in the VR industry... but (unless you've really been keeping up with his company) isn't in the way you'd think.
