Hi, Guys, it’s Kamil here. This is the first review of the International Booker Prize 2020 longlisted book. Today I’m going to review, The Enlightenment of the Greengage Tree by Shokoofeh Azar, translated by anonymous. This review is a bit longer as I took a few minutes to draw the historical context the novel is set in. I did my best to make it accessible, hopefully I was successful in that (fingers crossed;-)

Hence we are kicking off the project of reading and reviewing all International Booker Prize 2020 longlisted books, the next one coming up, The Adventures of China Iron.
