Meet Simon Ang Li, a Senior Controls Engineer at Wisk who plays a key role in developing the systems that ensure our Gen 6 aircraft fly safely and autonomously.

Simon leads the subscale aircraft program – a flying testbed that lets his team validate flight software in real-world conditions and gain insights that aren’t possible in simulation alone.

Before joining Wisk in 2019, Simon studied Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford, where his advisor was one of the founding members of the company that would eventually become Wisk. Simon also has a private pilot's license, bringing both technical expertise and a lifelong passion for aviation to his work.
