If you don’t want to watch that one, the background is that Peter and Wade were friends pre-Infinity War, and Wade was sad that Peter died.

Endgame happens, only Deadpool is there, wondering when Cable turned purple. So Peter comes back, and he reunites with Tony and Wade briefly. But then, of course, Tony dies. After seeing Tony die, Peter is scared and alone and wants to go to Wade for comfort and friendships. But Wade pushes him away because he feels guilty about Tony dying, and Peter's already died once. He feels like he can't protect him, so he tells him to go and make friends with some other hero who's better than him. This results in Peter seeking out and finding Mysterio.

Then Far From Home happens. Deadpool sees a totally legit and not in any way sloppily manipulated news story that Mysterio and Spider-Man are fighting. He realizes his error and goes to help Peter fight Mysterio. They win because I want them to. The end.
