This video is a pictorial essay of the final death knell of the
Cowra - Canowindra - Eugowra railway branch line.
This came when three vital rail bridges were demolished in Cowra in 2011.
The line is approximately 65 klms in length and It passes through
Billimari, Canowindraand terminates at Eugowra in Western New South Wales.
Sadly, these structures were removed just a few days short of the lines 100th birthday.
With these structures removed the likelyhood of this line ever reopening is zero.
Yet another link with our pioneering history is gone.
