Given the recent announcements by GM, Ford, and other auto manufacturers intentions to switch to an all electric vehicle fleet, it got me thinking. Is this the end of, what I call, “the second golden age of hot rodding”? I think it’s a fair question given the circumstances.
I realize that internal combustion engines will be on the road for some time to come, but the powers that be, seem to want to change that in a big way, and in a hurry. How far will they go is my question?
For now, I plan to drive the wheels off of my ‘babies’ until I can’t do it anymore. I hope that’s because of my ailing health in old age, and not because of the ‘motor law’.
